Madhu Krishna is an independent consultant in the area of Social Development and brings a diversity of experience in a wide range of fields including private, public and non-profit sector work. She provides with her wealth of knowledge and on policy and advocacy issues. She also brings her expertise in identifying organizations and utilizing strategic networks to provide clients with quality project management.
Madhu has served as the Asia Regional Director for Voxia, Inc. a private sector Information Technology Company that focuses on innovative IT solutions integrating cell-phones and internet for Public Health and Development Sector.
Prior to this, Madhu was a Senior Program Officer and Co-country Lead to PATH in India, an international NGO with head-quarters in Seattle. She has worked as the ‘Lead’ for PATH’s Children’s Vaccine Program in India to introduce new routine vaccines and also coordinated work with state and national governments, bilateral and multilateral partners and initiated a national injection safety coalition. As a Senior Program Officer and Country Coordinator Madhu was responsible for numerous areas in child and maternal health, vaccine programs, HIV /AIDS, including program-design, monitoring and evaluation programs, market assessment and field trials.
During this period, Madhu was closely associated with Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and worked on many of their senior leadership learning and advocacy trips to India.
Madhu has a decade’s experience in mainstream consulting with Indian and international corporations and she brings in a wide range of skills in strategic planning and project design and coordination to her work in social development
